Getting tired of my phone alarms during morning wake up.... Why not play some grooves to rub the crusties out of your eyes.... What's your favorite?  For me it would be "Rise" by Herb Alpert...

Always liked it whenever I catch it on 94.7, always thought, wow a tribute to Biggie, then I found out Biggie sampled it for Hypnotize.... Also wasn't around during Luke/Laura General Hospital days... So I enjoy the song without any negative associations...

Search "operation ivy - yelling in my ear".  My favorite band of all time. ( yes Tyler I like them better than Lisa Loeb, haha)

Every song of theirs is amazing but you wanted one to wake up to! Lyrics like "Yelling in my ear" fit the request so well.

Do you have a specific genre you like? My taste is ALL over the place in regards to music. I like it all.
 
Ok TD's head banging music will definitely wake me up in the morning and maybe a coronary event as well...:)    So angry!

Ill stick with Rancid, Everclear, the most I can tolerate is Alice in chains

Great thread! What a collection of music, haha.  Is anyone into music from a culture other than their own?  I really enjoy different types of music from other countries as the vocals turn to a new instrument. 

I've loved this song for years.  I love the melody.
