Awgee, small world. Hubby's company actually owns 50 or 51% of the company that manages the International portfolio for CalPers. We've actually been able to visit them at their headquarters in Scotland. They treated us like royalty while we were there. Very memorable business trip.

SoCalGal - The culture of our blog enjoys snarky (which implies some level of humor) and we eschew personal attacks and mean-spiritedness. Relax, it is all good fun, just let us get to know you a little better. I think the only one here with as dry of a sense of humor may be awgee. But, I know him, and I know his snarkiness. Once I get to know you, and others get to know you, then you will not have any issues like this.

Last time I was there, they had cashmere socks, and those would help keep him warm up there in the Pac NW. Make sure you get some cheap ones too, he doesn't always use plates or utensils when he eats pancakes.
