• Irvine 92614 had the most sales momentum in the county. It’s the relative bargain neighborhood of Irvine, near the 405. Its median selling price of $608,000 was up 14 percent in a year, the county’s sixth best gain by ZIP. And sales were up 31 percent, third best.

• Irvine 92602 – home to numerous new-home communities – was an outlier to my low-price theory as its ranked third. Its median price of $950,000 was up 10 percent in a year. That didn’t slow sales, which soared a county-best 104 percent.

how many times did he mention that OC housing was a bargain?  Its one thing to say housing is affordable, but to say OC housing (especially in Irvine) is a bargain is a far far far far far stretch.  This guys always has such a false positive slant on housing... I wouldnt be surprised if this guy isnt under the payroll of a bunch of real estate agents.

When I read crap like this, this is when I know I should sell, instead of buy.  Im sure people like him were saying the same thing in 2007-2008.

I agree, nothing is a freaking bargain in Irvine, some people love spreading rumors and influencing their opinion on others to put food on their own table. Prices are on the high and continue to be so...even a damn new condo entry price point is at 550k

Primrose @ Beacon Park cut prices 7-10% this weekend. I saw a lot of bargain hunters rushing to sign paperwork on Sunday.

Were those 10% deductions on $1M+ above homes? Or practically everything they had to offer? The pamphlet i got from them had the lowest pricing start around 650k for condos.
