For those Irvine homes that have smaller backyards, a little tranquility goes a long ways, creates the "wow" factor as well as building your homes value.  Water features create ambiance for the smaller yards as well as the bigger ones. 

 
@resortbackyard, can you tell us how much the budget was for the water feature job in the picture you posted, and how many sq ft was their total yard size?  Thx
 
I'll guess that yard is $140k.  I've gotten more than enough estimates to ballpark these things by now.
 
Ok cool. I was thinking probably $100k - $150k but couldnt narrow it down any further. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't like $300k or something ridiculous like that. I really have nothing to compare it to right now. Thanks!
 
I've gotten quit a few bids on backyard renos with pool.  I'd bet you could find a reputable pool builder to replicate that backyard for about 100K....add on a California Room would tack on another 30-40K. It all depends on what kind of materials you use.  We priced ours with travertine, salt water, california room(without fireplace) bids came in anywhere from 120K-180K with most bids in the 120-135K range.
