BofA Pays $33M SEC Fine for Misleading Investors- AP

Bank of America has agreed to pay a $33 million penalty to settle government charges that it misled investors about Merrill Lynch's plans to pay bonuses to its employees.

THATS IT??? A measly 33 Million??? Let's see...

1) Purposefully defraud public investors with no insider information....that's us

2) Pay 5.8 Billion in bonuses while borrowing TENS OF BILLIONS of dollars from the government and FED....really us

3) Get fined an insulting 33 MILLION for misleading us and have to pay with money loaned by us.

So basically B of A (and Merrill Lynch) paid themselves with our money and as a result we have to pay the fine.

WTF????????

I think this is the 'letting off easy' for the government forcing BofA to buy Merrill when everybody knew it was a bad deal.
