Irvine crime: Church ownership argument turns physical

IRVINE ? A disputer over the ownership of a church led to a shoving match Sunday and an attempted citizen's arrest, according to police reports.

The argument between a man and a woman at First Korean Church led to "pushing and shoving," Irvine police Lt. Rick Handfield said.

Police at 10:19 a.m. responded to the incident, with the woman signing a private persons arrest against the man, accusing him of battery.

The man was cited and released, and no injuries were reported..</blockquote>
<u>

Why are these Koreans causing so much trouble in Irvine and making Panda look bad</u>? The first generation are the worst.. you gather bunch of these people in one area and you are asking for some serious trouble!</blockquote>

Redline,

When i was an undergrad at the University of Michigan, there were two types of Asians. The geeky looking asians that went to church every Friday nights and Sunday morning (Panda was in this group) and the partying Hong Kong and Korean international students that spent money like it was water. The F-O-I-N-E Asian girls would only hang with the these high-flying international kids, these girls didn't even acknowledge that we were alive. I remember there was one international Korean dude who drove around in a brand new BMW M3. Two Hong Kong dudes out-did the international Korean kid with a brand new white and black Acura NSX. Their Rich dads also bought them their very own two bedroom condos in Ann Arbor.

That's the Rich Asian Dad Panda is talkin about.

Oops.. Sorry. I promise this will be the last time i write like Ten :)

Lebron's coming to Staples on the 19th.</blockquote>

Is he bringing his crabs with him?</blockquote>

For the record, the crab dribble was a legal move. However, the three steps after it were not. I was still surprised they called it.

I'll be seeing #1 Fantasy Player this year, Dwade this Sunday against the Odomless Lakers (means more Ariza!). Going to be cutting it close with the end of the Chargers game. My guess is I'll miss a bit of the first quarter since I won't be able to hit the road until after the NFL game is over.</blockquote>

They opened an ESPN Zone at LA Live directly across from Staples.

Why don?t you watch the Charger game there and walk over to the Laker game afterword.

Wouldn?t that make more sense?</blockquote>

It would make sense, however, making it to LA by game time would be pretty tough due to family coming up from San Diego. I'll be surprised if they make it to Orange County by game time. Good idea though. Also, were thinking of driving somewhere at halftime and shaving off a little distance at least.

Older, 1st generation immigrants don't usually cause trouble. But some of the 1.5 gen kids in LA K-Town clubs have this odd idea of picking fights to prove their alpha-male worthiness.

<cough> I have Korean friends who attend Church with their "bad boy" persona. Hitting on Church girls who want to "reform" them is like (quote) shooting fish in a barrel. Though personally, I have enough respect for religion to not use Church as a dating service.
