Today is Apple's World Wide Developer Conference 2013.

What are you looking forward to?

Check it out here for a live blog of the key note address by Tim Cook:

Expected announcements:
1) New iOS7
2) New OS X 10.9
3) iRadio -- free/ad based streaming music service
4) Updated Mac Book Pro and Air lines
5) Updated Time Capsule and AirPort Extreme--faster 802.11ac standard

I would hope they would announce release dates of new iDevices... don't actually need to know what they look like, just when they will be out.

Ever since the iPhone release has been moved to the fall, it makes it hard to resist all these other phones that come out during the spring/summer.

Also been wanting to get an iPad mini but hoping they would release one with better screen resolution.

The big changes are a new color palette, new icons, new typography?

Really? That counts as progress now? I couldn't care less if they use Arial or Helvetia font.

There is a lot more than just aesthetic changes:

>New control center
>Updated Safari browser
>New app multitasking interface
>New AirDrop feature
>Auto App updates
>New Camera support
>New Music interface and iTunes Radio
>New Face Time features

The jab at Samsung's "bump phones to share" pictures was funny.

Not sure if that's enough changes for iPhone to compete in today's bigger phone market... we'll see what happens with the new iPhone release but rumors have it as just an iPhone 5S update, no big hardware changes.

There's no Macbook Pro as far as I can tell.  There is a new Mac Pro though, 1/8th the volume of the old cheese grater!

multitasking cards...totally reminds of the days of the Palm Pre.  Not knocking Apple, since I think the cards is an awesome feature.  I'm glad they have it; it will definitely help the iPhone.
