Anyone ever had someone take over their TIC lease?

Just curious if anyone on here or knows someone who had a person take over their TIC lease before lease expiration? 
 
We had awesome rate at villa Coronado  and were thinking of moving.  Brought a friend who wanted that rate to see if it could be done and they were fine with it BUT wanted to increase the rent to "market".  Made no sense and we didn't investigate further....
 
Are you at the infamous end units by the stairs?

there was a prostitute bust in a unit when we lived there in 2008 if thats what you are referring to.  havent been there since 2008....
 
I had some good fortune finding someone on craigslist to take over my lease with a small fraction of an incentive compared to the lease break fee.
