An F-150 XLT Super Cab, a Chevy Malibu LT2 wV6 and two gas cards

To counter act my malaise at the extent of debt and speed with which our Government is racking it up, I did a little research on Edmunds.com and took the two most popular American made vehicles, added 10% for the tax and license fees and added a years worth of gas for each.

For every second, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, we can buy a new 2009 Ford F-150 SuperCab AND a new 2009 Chevy Malibu LT2 with the V6 and give each a gas card for the year's worth of mileage at the rate we are racking up debt with the proposed Federal budget.

That's 36 million cars. We sell about 7 Million a year in 2006. 2006 was a good year for the auto makers on car sales. Our deficit alone is 5 years worth of good car sales. All we get is 3 million saved jobs?
