I haven't seen this discussed yet on the blog so here it is.
AmEx offering some card holders $300 to close out accounts

It said they sent it out to people with a balance on their cards, so I am assuming that would be the bad ones, as you only get it if you pay off that balance.
Think "Blue" or "Open".

It doesn't say, but does anyone know if they are giving this offer to customers with good/bad credit?

I believe it will be offered to people who dont do a lot of transactions since AMEX makes its money on the transactions.
