The planned park at the corner of Jeffrey and Portola is gone and will become 450 units of housing now??? I was kinda looking forward to the big park, I guess I was fooled by TIC again. And the proposed new parks looks not attractive at all, they are not real parks at all.
BTW, anyone know is TIC building those 450 units or they will bring in other builders???

It's very possible that TIC could bring in other builders. TIC still have ~500 units in PS (Highland, Fiore, Azul, Cielo, Arbor, and Olivewood) and however many left in OH (Fresco, Ravello, and Azul) plus OH4. And they already have plans to build in Orange.

Wasn’t the Jeffrey and Portola park planned to be a sports park? So it would be a loss if live close and want to play baseball/softball or soccer. It is a win if you prefer hiking trails.

The big winners are Reserve owners and future OH4 buyers. No more AAA and it will be replaced with a big system of trails with direct access from your neighborhood. Although, TIC is probably going to make OH4 buyers pay a little extra now.

Just drive to GP. Lots of open sport fields . Remember to thank all the owners for paying their eternal MR :)

Crean Lutheran’s athletic fields are off Portola between Sand Canyon and Bee Canyon.
I know where those are... those are closer to GP... I looked at a map, it's Portola Springs Community Park:

Not a Sports park... but with GP close to Jeffrey and Portola... is there really a need?

Oops missed your post.

I don't know where all the new PS hoods are but that area has some nice elevation lots... biking down Whispering Hills Road has a nice view of the sunset and Irvine.

That’s pretty far from Jeffrey and Portola. I agree with you that there isn’t a huge need at that location, though, because there are 4 or 5 sports parks that are closer to Jeffrey and Portola than the one you mentioned!
