Had a family member try these and the Hearing Test and Hearing Aid functionality worked so well! They wanted do get a hearing test and were getting bounced between Kaiser and Costco and weren't able to get it done yet. Got them the AirPods Pro 3 and used the settings in the phone to make sure the seal was adequate and the ear tips were the right size (AirPods are strange for someone who has never placed things in their ear; they had them in too loose so they were falling out). We then had them do the hearing test and it measured the decibels hearing level and showed some moderate and mild hearing loss. We turned on the hearing aid function and they could immediately tell the difference and were surprised how they could hearing themselves so much better too. I'm sad to know that they were suffering for so long but I am extremely relieved and pleased that the solution was so simple.
