Why don't car dealers mount dash cams on new cars as a option for buyers?  They can run the wires so it looks clean and professional. 

A new revenue stream for dealers no?

Because it's now a requirement for new cars to come equipped with them.

Yeah...especially critical for SUVs and trucks..a lot of backup accidents involving children.
