After home inspection....

After home inspection,  lot of problems with the house.  We want to get price reduction or either cash credit for closing,  shall we ask our agent to send out "counter offer" or "request for repair"?  If we could not get the price reduction, we will cancel the contract.

It'll be easier for you to get a repair credit then a price reduction.  That being said, you also want to make sure that the large repair credit doesn't trigger any red flags with your lender.
