It?s a pity you have such a terrible attitude and definitely the wrong mid-set.

You keep playing the victim, droning on and on about being picked on.

For what?

If you don?t like the situation you?re in stop complaining and do something about it.

Blaming a guy on a Housing Blog for your mis-fortune in life is completely unfounded and utterly ridiculous.

Get over yourself already.

I met IR, believe me guy?s got much better things to do with his time and energy than pick on you.

You said you're a professional, start acting like one.

[quote author="hwergsd" date=1229661113]You are all a pack of jackals, looking to line your pockets with the flesh of responsible homeowners everywhere, ignorant of the pain your ilk causes. I don?t know how you leeches live with yourselves. There is the innocent blood on the hands of all you vile voyeuristic scum.

Karma will get you.

When people were wrecklessly loaning themselves up FAR past what we could afford... I was waiting.

When people were breaking their arms patting themselves on the back for

taking out ARMS and HELOC credit, knowing that they would never replay... I was waiting.

When people were spending, spending, spending... I was waiting and NOT spending.

I have been responsible for my financial situtation, I'm not waiting for the GOVT or any other person to bail me out.

Are you? Have You?

In my humble opinion, anybody that has lost their house is not innocent. They were just blinded by purchasing a home they could CLEARLY not afford. When the time came and they had to pay up, did you think their morality forced them to pay up or walk away?

Let me make this clear, they walked away. I have NEVER walked away from ANY obligation, HAVE YOU?

[sigh] why am i arguing with a stupid troll... where's that successful troll picture...

The relevant comps are 44 and 46 Honey Locust, both sold in October, for $565K and $625K respectively. They are smaller than 78 Fringe Tree though.

$799K is pure fantasy but Fringe will probably fetch $625-650K right now...

If I lived about 1000 feet from this pile of open garbage

and my home had lost 40% of its value I would be pissed too.

[quote author="Janet" date=1229666046]You are all working on 10% of the knowledge of this story. No, the person starting the thread is not a disgruntled homeowner, they are someone pretending to be me to invite attacks. Second, my beef with IR has zero to do with housing prices and everything to do with bullying, closedmindedness and general malice. I have been dealing with this for the better part of two years. But don't let facts stop you from putting in your 2 cents! And don't give me that tired garbage about irresponsiblility. I owned a $2M home, until my husband got cancer and our outlook changed. I put hundreds of thousands down on my current home, not including upgrades. Looking back, I wish I had put nothing down, but it's water under the bridge.

My aunt and uncle bought a 440K home. My uncle also got cancer and their outlook has changed as well.

The only difference is that they still own their home and you don't.

Thats what happens when you decide to live beyond your means. Perhaps you should have put hundreds of thousands down on a 500K or even 700K home. Then the word owned would still be own. I think you are upset because you got suckered in...are underwater...and now are bitter that the CEO of Lehman Brothers is walking away with your cash.

Or did you buy a 2M home in hopes it goes to 3M? I'm guessing that. In that case you gambled and lost.

I think of myself as more of a jack-hole vs. a jackal...

Truthi should send me an Xmas present though since my data is probably the best support for her conclusions out there.

Last time I checked, I'm sitting in my home. It's super-beautiful too! And I have twice the room to move around as I would if I spent $3000 on rent.

IPO, there is a model match within 6 months at $799,000 - it's on Juneberry. Regardless, you are the only person here who has the cajones to tell it like it is. There isn't a need to be rude to me....or you.

So whats the problem? You are happy in your home, I'm happy renting.

There must be confusion amongs all of us. Even the guy getting my rent is happy. We are all happy!

I'm not happy because I am a private person and don't appreciate my name and address being given out to frightening people, which is what was intended today.

10-4 I'm a happy renter and owner! When the time comes i'll just purchase my house... no loans needed. I think alot of us didn't purchase because the cost vs rent was FAR out nominal. Like 2-3x nominal, 1.5x is understandable, but 2x. And then again, you really don't own it. Being a part of mello roos, and a association just never goes away.

Where in the blog did IR use your name? I read it this morning, and not one mention was made of the homedebtor.

[quote author="Janet" date=1229669057]A lecture from "Tenmagnet"? Priceless!

Who do you think is keeping the local tax attorneys and accountants in business?

Pay attention and you might learn a few things.

IR knew that his fans would add the name. He will try to deny it, but it is the truth. (That is not my home on the blog) It's complicated.
