Okay, I'm not trying to be like some ?????. I'm simply interested to know if there are tai-chi meetups in any of the parks here around Irvine. My interest isn't hardcore but rather to practice fluid movement in hopes to display this strength and grace in my everyday life. Preferably a meetup with no commitment/monetary obligation where I can jump in and start to mimic everyone else. Is anyone at IHB aware of such activity? Thanks in advance.

Early morning at the Lake by Woodbridge you will find serious Tai Chi exercisers. I have seen them there for over 20 years. Usually they gathered by the pavilion gazebo.

Beginner classes are available on weekdays, evenings and weekends in Irvine, Tustin, Fountain Valley and Costa Mesa.



Welcome to visit City of Irvine sponsored beginner class on Tuesdays @ 6:30-8pm at Irvine Deerfield Park Community Center near Culver and Irvine Center Dr. The beginner class will start on Tuesday January 13th 2009 @ 6:30-8pm.



Welcome tp visit City of Tustin sponsored beginner class on Thursdays @ 6-7:30pm at Tustin Senior Center in downtown Tustin. The beginner class will start on Thursday January 15th @ 6-7:30pm. Tustin offers morning beginner class will start on Monday January 19th @ 11am-12:15pm at Tustin City Hall Clifton Comm. Center.



Fountain Valley beginner class is on Thursdays @ 9:30-11am at Mile Square Park near tennis court on Brookhurst Street.



Beginner class is available on Saturdays morning 8:30-10am at Irvine Harvard Sports Park near Jamboree and I-5 Fwy.
