Located at intersection of Barranca and Culver, I believe they took over the former Islands building.

This is a Korean owned AYCE Japanese BBQ, Sushi and Yakitori restaurant. They offer $50 and $70 AYCE packages.

For this week, they have 50% off for Father's day special for dads. Yes, half off for fathers. The $70 premium AYCE is $35 this week.

If you miss the deal, until end of June, they are offering 20% discount if you reserve on yelp for the Deluxe AYCE, but you can discuss if they'd allow 20% off for Premium AYCE.

There are Japanese BBQ places that do Japanese BBQ better, like Manpuku, and there are Sushi restaurants that do sushi better. But at 50% off this week, it's a very good value. We ordered premium AYCE and ate sashimi by the pound.

If you dine here, I recommend ordering a selection of meats to find what you like then stick with it.

Miso soup here is like... instant made with hot water. Skip.

Curry rice here is surprisingly good, tender chunks of beef with a little fat.

Thumbs up on the sushi and sashimi, crab cream croquette. If you order the premium, the Ama ebi is also very good.

You also get smores and ice cream desert.

Premium tier includes alcohol on tap.

I tried this place out probably a month after they opened.

It was decent... good variety... and different type of cooking on mesh over fire vs the pans over fire at KBBQ.

I missed the ice cream dessert... I wonder if that was added after.
