Sorry, The entire neighborhood will be protected under the Historic Landmarks US Department of Interiors. Frontal garages are outlawed and considered detrimental to the aesthetic integrity of the historic neighborhood. Only a small handful of virgin neighborhoods are left in OC and they are not immuned to the "Frontal Garage Rapists".

I hear you. Though those great exclusive neighborhoods don't seem all that great when you can't get water to them during fire season or the police don't show up consistently when called. If you can buy the home NEXT to the mayor, you're probably gold.

These neighborhoods actually are nothing like this, no water problem (not high in the hills) and the police are much quicker to respond than in other parts of the city (of course, the mayor lives in Floral Park!)

So how did the gang of ner-do-wells manage to camp in the BK house, then? If the neighbors are so connected, they should have had the sheriff there to remove them. Has the neighborhood watch gone dormant?

Final Price would be 80% of asking price.

Ugly unfinished front yard would be demolished to make room for an uglier 3 car frontal garage with full driveway.

It will be sold in one week after I moved.

Well the Ner-do wells' junky cars are all hidden in the rear garage and the front of the house is kept nice and tidy. The neighbors could not find a reason to file a compliant. The missing delicious dogs and cats in the neighborhood I just blame the Coyotes coming down from the creek behind the neighborhood.

Man, I would love to buy this house. I can't imagine that the discount for the condition could in any way make up for the amount of money to fix it up (and the money for the rental while the work is being done). By the time the renovations were complete, the house would be worth less than you paid for it AND you will have dumped in another 300K. I say $650K and it will take another 8 months minimum to close the deal.
