NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
American charges a $150 fee for unaccompanied minors. In this case, the parents did pay this fee, which makes it so much more egregious. Given the premium paid, shouldn't the airline actually... I don't know... maybe, watch the children??

The fee used to be for very young children only but AA tacked it on for older kids up to young teens in 2014. In AA's words, the policy"ensures the safest possible travel for our youngest customers".  :o

I don't think I would ever let my kids fly by themselves, regardless of what the airline told me they would or wouldn't do.  Of course this incident is not the parents fault, and they should be able to reasonably assume that for the extra fee, the airline will pay special attention to her throughout the flight.  This predator should be on the no-fly list.

paydawg was right.  I did some initial research.  Groping on airplane occurs a lot more frequently than anyone might think.  So statistically speaking, you've got a better chance of getting groped on an airplane than winning the lottery.

Anyhow, the parents DID pay $300 extra fee for unaccompanied minors.  Holy crap, now they have a legal case!  The airline is going to lose this one.

I don't have the time to research about airplane groping.

Sounds sick

I think people who are mentally unstable shouldn't be able to buy a gun.
