If you like eating hot dogs, and want to win some money, this contest is for you.

The Derby Deli & Dueling Piano Bar in Mission Viejo is hosting the “West Coast Hot Dog Eating Contest” this Sunday Oct. 25 at 11 a.m.

The top dog, so to speak, wins $1,000 for devouring the most dogs in 24 non-consecutive minutes without puking. Entry fee is $25. Participants can register at the restaurant.

Rules: No vomiting. No age limit.

The deli is at 27741 Crown Valley Pkwy, Mission Viejo, CA 92691

I'm pretty sure I could win this, but I also think all that salt would spike my blood pressure so high it'd look like the opening scene from Blade.
 
I can see an oppourtunity to - as a spectator - consume three gallons of red koolaid in the parking lot right before this starts and totally ruin somebodys promotion.
