How to clean outdoor patio tiles

What do people typically use? I clean them about every other week with a water hose and a squeegee broom. It does require a lot of water that end up going over the plants soil. I think the large amount of water might be bad for the plants though as they get overwatered. Is that the common...

It looks like the 10k cap on property tax deduction can now be for state tax too. So a 10k cap deduction for state/local/property tax combined. How does that work if you file jointly. Do you get 20k deduction? Or you have to file separately and each claim the 10k.

2017-2018 Property Tax Bills are out!

You'll get a supplemental bill once they have valued your house. I believe that was also the value of the land on my first bill.

Not sure what's wrong in asking the question. It's a nice perk and I'd like to give some to family too. It's because you can live in Irvine that it means you can't like a good deal

I got one through my work. It has some good coupons in there. Just wondering if there was other places to find them. I remember last year some model homes had them. Wouldn't mind getting an extra set of coupons.

What is the profit margin on these new constructions?

Can you really look at it that way though? The value of that land is what makes most of the price. And they already own it. So they could go and sell it to another developer as well. So the profit margin is really sale price - (cost of labor/material + value of land)

New construction secured tax bill sent by IP

But since the bill if for July 2016-June 2017 and I've closed escrow in June 2016, I should be paying that full bill, right? Basically, IP might have charged me for property tax for the month of june if they had paid for it.

New construction secured tax bill sent by IP

CFD is 1700 in Eastwood. So I noticed the bill is covering July 2016-June 2017. I moved in June 2016. So I guess those taxes are owed by me. However, what's weird is the valuation is still based on land value and not purchase value. I assume they'll send a corrected bill later? What I find...

New construction secured tax bill sent by IP

Are you supposed to be for the taxes before you buy the house though? I understand that if they paid MR for the whole year, they will ask you to pay for the portion after you bought the house. But the whole year? It's basically full year CFD + full year property tax on land value.

New construction secured tax bill sent by IP

I just got a secured property tax bill. It was forwarded by Irvine pacific and requesting that I pay it. The secured tax bill looks like it contains tax for the whole year 2016 (1% of land value and the full CFD melorooz tax). I moved in June 2016. Am I responsible for taxes for the first half...

The recent model 2-3 that sold in SG seem to be around 740-750. I think Helena might have however drastically increased their prices recently too as there's few homes left to sell. I thought they were 710-730 at end of the year.

Stonegate east isn't the best comp though. When we were looking, I was noticing about a 40-50k delta between the Cambria models in SG east and SG. I remember same time last year, some Cambria models in SG east were going for 680-690 and I remember some in SG selling for 735. Not sure if that...

700-800 is basically kinda the top of the range that a couple with good/decent jobs can afford.

The neighbors I've met in Helena don't seem to be cash buyers though. They all seem to have grew up here (although mostly asian) and be dual income young families or couples. I think that might change once you go to 900k range.

2800 for upgraded paint throughout. They did a pretty terrible job too. Had to have them redo bunch of spots. And that "upgraded" paint wasn't really high quality. Would never pay for that upgrade.

I think about 90k or so less for base price. However they were forcing about 20k of upgrades (I would have probably done most of them except 3k for paint and the upgraded isolation).
