My pick for dim sum is ocean star in monterey park.  huge dining area with tons of choices and the food is excellent.  oh, and the staff is fresh off the boat too

went here on the recommendation of a friend and was deeply disapointed.  these tacos are different, vastly more expensive, and dont tast nearly as good as the tacos i get from my favorite taqueria.  the whole experience was like a thumb to the eye to be quite honest.
