I like the exterior redesign. Interior pluses include new front ventilated seats, more sound deadening, added speakers, and rear control screen. Downside: no signal or shifting stalks.

I remember signing a waiver at my dealership for not installing a front plate. They don't want you suing them for the cost of a ticket. Tint places use similar waivers for dark front side windows.

I thought this article was interesting given the other thread about IUSD and getting into Ivies. Being in the 1% has its advantages: legacy admissions, sports, and private schools.

If you go to a prestigious private or magnate school, then the rules are probably different. Discerning colleges will understand the difference between top 5% at average school vs top 15% at elite school. But IUSD isn't a ivy feeder so your odds are longer.
I agree with IHO. I love Irvine but if your ONLY goal is to get your kid into a Ivy, going private or less competitive public school is probably the way to go. This only works if both you and your child are highly motivated. Too much money / tiger parents in Irvine. While this is great for home...
