Why on earth does a couple making more than $300K a year need a tax credit to buy an EV? I'm not even going to talk about the $500K number... Here we are subsidizing a bunch of car makers that have 0 incentives to start making affordable EVs...I wish they kept the limit per models to 200K and...

If you don't filter the air you will bring in dust and pollen to various degree while also pushing out dust and pollutants. One additional advantage is that you cool your attic with a whole house fan which can give a bit more thermal inertia during the day to avoid the house to warm as fast.

Do you use some kind of filter on the open window? The only drawback I have read is the amount of dust/pollen that may come in the house if use extensively. I was looking at installing one myself, it's not overly complicated and they have models with wireless remotes.

I don't understand how you can expect all traditional manufacturers to give up on their EV plans knowing it's their only way to survive past 10 to 15 years. They are not just going to close shop. Not sure what was decided in the US but in Europe past 2035 all cars will need to be zero emission...

Tesla can do no wrong with you  ;D I would bet that the VW group is in a much better situation than Tesla when it comes to supply chain just by their sheer size and buying power. But I agree any "today" EV will be victim of the fast innovation we are seeing in the sector and won't be that...

There is a 2+ years backlog of eviction that is being absorbed by the market, let's see if the decline lasts or is just a temporary stage. Prices have gone up so much in the region I feel more people are stuck renting than ever.
