    Current thoughts on Foothill Ranch

Sorry to interrupt your disection of Disneyland, but back to Foothills Ranch. I have two kids in junior high, so a 6.5 mi trek does not sound appealing to me at all. Along with all the other negatives, I am convinced I should not waste time on FR.

Short Sale ?? in WB (newb ?'s)

I tried that whole "short sale" thing in April. The agent said she saw the property going for around $670k, and since I loved it I made an offer of $685k to make sure mine was the highest. She said there was more than 20 other offers, but mine was one of the best. She was really a slimey...

    MalibuRenter's summer in Dallas

I just sold a home in Steeplechase in June of last year, which is very near to Maliburenter's new digs. I have also lived in Houston and Austin. I think Texas is the perfect place to live if you are a homebody and love a McMansion, or if you love inviting friends over to BBQ every...

    RE Broker License Exam

I thought about taking the exam myself five years back - as an attorney I was not required to take any courses, simply pass the exam. If that is still the case, I may just take the exam for the hell of it and get a license. It may come in handy some day.

15 Spring Grove - a good deal at 1,399,000 in Northwood Pointe, or not?

What is with the love of Oak cabinets? For that much money, couldn't they afford something that you don't find in homes half the price? Besides Culver, with the way the home is situated, you also have four other homes breathing down your neck. I'll pass.

    Cities with good schools

I would buy where there is an 8, but I would also use other means to determine the reputation of the schools in that area. The last home I bought the elementary was only a 9, but was considered one of the best in the city and with extensive parent involvement. I only use greatschools.net as a...
