We are hoping that the area being graded near the 241 off of Portola becomes a shopping center. It still wouldn't quite be walking distance, especially with it being up the hill, but it would at least be nearby.

Haha well, often times I see people focus on the negative aspects of a neighborhood, whether it's Portola Springs, The Great Park, etc. It is definitely important to take note of certain things, but sometimes it can overshadow the positives of a community and I wouldn't want someone to miss out...

I think the one thing we can all acknowledge is that regardless of what village of Irvine you live in, it's expensive to live here. Most households require two incomes. We are grateful to live here and have neighbors who are humble and helpful.

I love the look of 3 car wide garages. When done right, it adds so much to the curb appeal. I always get slightly disappointed when I see a property advertised as a 3 car garage only to discover that one side is tandem, haha.

True. Having a nearby shopping center and access to markets and restaurants within walking distance is a huge plus, but I think additional factors need to be taken into account. For example, when I lived in Corona Del Mar, I could basically park my car on the weekends and have a pleasant walk...

I second this vote! Everything Inc says is true. Also, 152 Firefly has a great floorplan for young families because it gives you room to grow. From a design perspective, this floorplan also allows for a lot of natural light and free flowing space, making it ideal for family time and entertaining...
