I really like the contemporary clean look and all the photos I've seen that I like seem to have a honed finish. Do you think this would be too slippery when wet?

I'm going with a concrete countertop. Should I be concerned with cracking later down the road (or do you think this adds to the natural beauty?)? One landscaper recommended I score the countertop, but I'm not too fond of the look with scores. Any advice?
