Your closing price list shows 3671 Claremont in Westpark as sold as of 12/23/08 at $591,000 but it's back on the market as a short sale for $625,000. What's up with that?

All I know is that prices have to fall another 20% before I could comfortably buy a place. :down: And I'm assuming I'll still have a job. Anybody think prices will drop like that in the spring?

Okay, forgive me for being naive and not reading every post, but what is this Case Schiller index and what's the significance of it dropping below 200?

I'm renting a 1960 sf 3/2.5 in UP, 2700/mo. Didn't want to pay that much, but landlord accepted the pets so I signed. House is old (1960's model) but clean and fairly updated. Great location, though, so I think it's worth it.

ipo, there are some Irvine properties I've watched go off of the market in the past couple of months or so, that the MLS lists as pending sale, but I don't see them on your list. If I give you the addresses can you tell me what's up with them?
