Solar upgrade at Ellwood - Any takers?

Quite the opposite. Sunpower are the best panels more efficient panels, but cost the most. SolarCity doesn't offer Sunpower.

Yeah, lame! There will be more of these kinds of things too when self driving cars and Uber become more popular and they can't get any revenue from speeding and parking tickets.

True, I would lease if I didn't drive so much. I could only see buying the other luxury cars if you are enamored with the looks or sound.

    Tesla

No, like many Tesla owners, it's way more than I ever thought I would ever spend on a car. I was looking at a Fusion Energi or Volt but too small, trunk doesn't have enough room for a stroller. I was never into luxury cars and frankly if you're going to spend $40-50k+ on a car, I don't see why...

    Tesla

Yep, only option I got. Works pretty well, definitely has a ways to go though. Sometimes can't "see" the lanes. But generally very good from stop and go to cruising speeds. Makes traffic much less stressful. Here's a video I took of the new Summon auto park feature: https://youtu.be/O5PktkOTOho

I believe it depends on if you want the Signature or a regular model. Going to be months, maybe a year? Picked up an 85D a couple months ago and love it.

    Dwelling coverage in homeowner's insurance

Yeah varies from house to house. I tried to see if Geico was cheaper for my parents' houses but they weren't because my parents have had their policies for decades and I guess they don't raise the policies if you stay with the same company.

    Dwelling coverage in homeowner's insurance

Correct, they use vendors. Actual insurance is through Stillwater. Not sure why it's so cheap but QBE, Farmer's and others were much higher. The umbrella insurance also lowered the car insurance around 10% I believe so it ended up being almost free. I'm a big fan now:

    Dwelling coverage in homeowner's insurance

Just switched my house to Geico after getting several quotes. Dwelling coverage is $329,000 for a 1974 square foot house. Geico was the best price by far, $300 a year. Previously I had used Wells Fargo/QBE since that was the who did the loan on the new house and it was double that. Have since...

best transportation to John Wayne Airport

I don't think they are any more dangerous than a taxi driver. Won't matter in a few years anyway as we'll be shuttled around by self driving electric cars.

Wood or Carpet Floors in Bedrooms

Hardwood throughout. Carpet is great for a year, then if you have pets or kids looks trashed rather quickly. More dust and allergies with carpet too.

Used Uber last few times including sending in-laws to LAX from Irvine. If OP is opposed to Uber I would recommend Lyft.

Yeah? I've never really compared the porn-I mean private modes of the popular browsers, is there a big difference? I thought they would all basically do the same thing.
