Signaling to change lanes only to find the driver in the other lane speeding up and driving parallel with me so I'm stuck.  After having this happen three times I no longer signal.  I just cut in front of other drivers and hope I won't get rear ended.

I used to love CDM when it was small summer beach cottages but driving through there now I get claustrophobic with the giant houses taking up the tiny lots.  It's the same with new construction in Irvine.  The streets seem too narrow and the houses too close together.  I feel like you can't...

I love the view in that picture. But where are the bedroom windows with people peering down at you.  It doesn't quite feel like Irvine unless you glance up at wave at your nosy neighbor.

If you inherit a house and choose to keep it, do the property taxes stay the same or do they increase based on the current value of the house?

I don't know about the rate increasing, but the total bill has been amazingly consistent for years despite years of drought.  I guess less water is being used when the washing machine, dishwasher, shower heads and faucets were replaced.

It's funny (or maybe not) when I read that thread I was thinking to myself the reason why 50% of the neighborhood wouldn't like the person might have been because he had a kid who scored in the lower percentile on a standardized test.  I never saw the video.
