All joking and BR-shilling aside, I think it doesn't really matter. I get why Tustin hoods are in the Irvine forum and it makes sense to me. However, for practical reasons it would make sense for the Irvine and neighboring new home communities to all be in the same sub-forum for discussion...
Meh. The only Irvine neighborhoods I'd move from BR for are HC, Shady Canyon and Quail Hill. It's those or Newport Coast, CDM or Laguna. Everything else is close enough to not matter one way or another.

And honestly almost all of my neighbors in BR are ex irvinites and we all compared BR to PS and PP when looking last year. It's not Irvine but it's close enough...
Frankly the non Irvine sub forums have been kinda dead. I think for the benefit of everyone all of the new home communities in and around Irvine should just be in one forum. They're all competing for the same buyers so having a consolidated view is best.
