I went to Carmax once and thought their quote was really low. Also, like bones, had a crazy long wait time. I may give it another chance though as I'd prefer not to get shot.  ;)

It'll be interesting to see the impact once tenants start moving into the nearby low income housing.  There are a couple of potential culture clashes that could hurt business in the District: Low income tenants vs. affluent Whole-Foods shoppers, and "ethnically diverse" tenants vs. FCB Costco...

With a private sell, I'll net more money, but will have the hassle of showing the car, arranging a buy and worrying about fraud (not to mention craigslist killers). With the trade-in, I'll take it in the shorts, but will save time/hassle. Has anyone gone through this process lately?

Yep!  That location is my favorite alternate to the 45 min line at Starbucks @NP. The only downside is all the shaved, spandex wearing bike riders.  #Scary!

True, but i dont think it will take that long to turn things around. I also think his schtick plays better in college-- the athletes aren't around as long, so his antics wont wear them down and he wont have a manager to clash with. I just wonder if MI will ultimately regret selling its soul to...
