Looks like Ferrari sold all their 2026 Luce EVs. Only about 500 being made but they are over $600k each.

Makes sense why @morekaos prefers ICE over EV! EV's used to be known as "glorified golf carts" until Tesla made EV's mainstream after GM had failed and shutdown their EV1 program! I personally still prefer the convenience of a quick fill up at a gas station with a ICE vehicle rather than waiting for an EV to charge which is not as quick and convenient as filling up an ICE vehicle at a gas station! So basically you can have the best of both worlds if you want to keep your ICE vehicle you can buy a street legal electric golf cart like @morekaos and use it as an EV to go around your neighborhood! LOL 😂

I noticed that at Costco Wednesday this week and pointed it out to my wife. $54 for a box of Kirkland oil! It was under $30 on sale not long ago, and IIRC $34 even after the war started. Still cheaper than the DexosR one of my cars requires.

I try to buy stuff on sale and keep 2-3 years' worth of oil and filters on hand for the ICE cars. Actually doing a change on the Honda this weekend. I go through 27 quarts of oil a year.

Doubling motor oil prices sucks, but compared to gas, and registration, and insurance, and tires, and depreciation, it's still barely a shadow of a wart on the cost of vehicle ownership.
 
When you buy a car, the sales tax is based on address of your car registration.
