Generally speaking, what is a good time to call for some quotes and get projects going? I am thinking of flooring and maybe kitchen island at the moment.
 
Just like buying a home in Irvine... any time is a good time. :)

I've been wanting to add a loft... price goes up every 3-5 years. :(
