Petroleum Rules the World: We Control Most of It

By ignoring all the bright thinkers and conventional analyses the President’s genius strategy has placed us in the driver’s seat. We are now the world’s top source of oil and gas and control major distribution flows of petro supplies from around the world.

The U.S. is an absolute energy monster * Sitting on 46 billion barrels of proved crude reserves (60% still locked in tight rock) * Permian Basin alone pumps 6.6 million barrels/day, more than every OPEC country except Saudi * Total U.S. crude: 13.6M barrels/day, the world’s #1 producer, beating Russia (9.1M) and Saudi (9.3M) * Natural gas? Not even close, record 43.2 trillion cubic feet in 2025, about 25% of global supply. The U.S. out-produces every petrostate on the planet. -- @hedgeye

So we should keep Hormuz closed!!!

I read that US oil, although easier to refine. is more expensive than Arab oil which is why their heavier crude dominates the market.

But if we make more…

Again, you miss the point. 80% of the oil that runs through Hormuz goes to china. Most of the oil from Venezuela goes to china. We don’t get much oil from either but we now control that flow….china is the endgame…always has been….check mate🤷🏽‍♂️😆😆😆👍🏽🇺🇸

BTW: You are being shortsighted with your China theory. I'll let you think about all the ramifications and the actual facts about China's oil supply.

You need to start using logic before claiming chess victories with your checkers social feeds.

Oh so are you saying war with China is the endgame?

Yeah.. that would be so smart.
Control and influence without firing a shot. I knew this was the strategy months ago. Way before anyone wrote about it. The markets tell the truth. US equity and oil Prices tell the tale….🤷🏽‍♂️👍🏽😆😆😆🇺🇸IMG_8366.pngIMG_8367.png

Record armada of tankers bound for US Gulf to load oil

Shipping data posted by maritime intelligence company Windward shows 171 crude tankers are bound for the U.S. Gulf to load crude oil cargoes, which compares with about 110 in a typical month.

The surging vessel traffic comes as nations throughout Europe and Asia grapple to secure energy supplies and regional prices skyrocket. Germany is providing emergency fuel relief to its citizens while officials in the Philippines recently declared a national energy emergency as the world looks increasingly to the U.S. to replenish war-starved oil and gas markets.

80% of the oil transported though Hormuz is destined for Asia, of which 37-38% goes to China. Beware of exaggerated clickbait on X and YouTube.

China imports 3x more oil from other gulf states (UAE, Saudi, etc) vs Iran. The country that China imports the most oil from is Russia, followed by Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, etc.

80-90% of Iranian oil exports goes to China’s mostly smaller (“teapot”) independent refineries. The larger state owned refineries work with more “stable” sources like Saudi Arabia and Russia.

The smaller refineries account for 25% of China’s refining capacity, supplying the smaller/independent gas stations, petrochemical factories (light plastics, fertilizer) and export to Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, etc. (the larger state owned refineries sell to South Korea and Japan).

P.S. Venezuela heavy crude export to China is used for asphalt production. China accounts for 74% of global asphalt imports.

it would cost billions to build a pipeline from Texas to California.

It's time to think big.

Phillips 66, Kinder Morgan Advance Gulf Coast-to-California Pipe

Phillips 66 and Kinder Morgan Inc. will move ahead with the Western Gateway pipeline that will ship fuel from US Gulf Coast and Midwest refiners to California.

The proposed pipeline has successfully completed its second so-called open season where would-be customers indicate their desire to reserve capacity on the conduit, according to a joint statement released by the companies on Monday.

The Western Gateway network, slated to begin operations in mid-2029, will involve building a new stretch of pipeline from Borger, Texas, to Phoenix.
