On the upside the fixed mortgage from 2011 that was refi'd through 2019 is starting to look SOOOOOPER cheap. My payment + taxes + insurance + extra principal is less than what the renters next door signed up for 2 years ago, and our house is about 50% bigger. They do have a pool though, which I get to look almost as much as they do. :P

A topic I hear coming up repeatedly in multiple social circles is something along the lines of "Can you believe how much it costs to feed a family at Chick-fil-a?" Or "So I went to McDonalds to buy happy meals for my kids and it was $30!". Perhaps people are finally noticing inflation in their daily lives.

Brandon is going to make this speech very soon. The same mistakes will be made again...Back then it was the evil oil companies and they levied a moronic "Windfall profits tax" to fund a Solar Bank to fund the Green future...it failed...Today it comes in the form of "Build Back Better" to fund the Green New Deal" which will fail just as predictably...but remember.. from failure comes redemption...the next 8 years saw the greatest expansion of economic growth in our countries history...that will happen again after a few stumbles like Brandon.

A steel part I quoted in APR @ $475/1,000 pcs, I re-quoted in JUL @ $619/1,000 pcs.
I wonder if that will be inflationary.
