Northwood Estates

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Larry, several of us have watch many of your YouTube videos. Why did you stop? When are you going to start again?
Well, apparently my brain decided it needed a break from all the HOA drama. Believe it or not and I know that’s a stretch these days, there was a time when Mr. HOA and I were actually on civil terms. In fact, I even supported him. Yeah, I know… rookie mistake.
Meanwhile, he’s still busy running his little smear campaign against me and plenty of others, like he doesn’t already have enough fires to put out. I’ve always said justice moves at the pace of government paperwork: slow, tedious, but eventually it gets there. And for those lucky enough to be on the list, there are emails about him floating around. Most of them land in my junk box, but I have to admit, they make for some quality reading.
Oh, and just when you thought it was safe to surf the web again… my vlogs *might* be making a comeback. Emphasis on *might*.

Has the new board improved anything?
The 24-hour a day clanking of the spike strips at the exit gates has finally stopped and the never implemented "drop arms" were finally removed. Once after a power failure, the entire community was stuck behind the gates for two hours because "Mr. HOA's" company installed the drop arms backwards. This was probably how Irvine Code Enforcement became involved even though "Mr. HOA" has publicly accused my wife and I of reporting it. Irvine Police did come by that day while "Mr. HOA" pretended to have everything under control, but illegal is still illegal.

The unused and unpermitted spike strips remain, but are sinking into the ground due to impropper installation by "Mr. HOA's" company.

It should be noted that none of the Northwood Estates "improvement" projects were done to code. Now, in addition to all the lawsuits incurred under his reign, all of the work he voted for his company to do for Northwood Estates will need to be removed.

This is a requirement of the city and a direct result of his five year tenure as a board member. We will not be re-imburesed for this work. Did I mention we are missing quite a bit of money as well?

"Mr. HOA" was able to find crime where it had never existed before and hired his own company to perform hundred's of thousands of dollars of work that was both unnecessary and illegal. "Mr. HOA" even went so far as to manufacture a "HOME INVASION ROBBERY" in our neighborhood and later tried to connect the incident to me and my wife. The neighborhood will not be reimbursed for "Mr. HOA's" vanity projects or missing funds.

"Mr. HOA" was able to find the money to pay his company for 75 or so surveillance cameras to watch his neighbors, but has been unwilling or unable to release about four years of our HOA's financials after complaining of "decades" of mismanagement.

Inexplicably, board members that remain from "Mr. HOA's" time on the board appear to still be supporting him despite their being specifically named as defendants in the most current litigation. Board members who made it virtually impossible for my family to leave our home are now literally hiding inside their homes to avoid our process servers.

These are the same people who were willing to publicly make our lives miserable in order to merely “prove a point” for no discrernable reason.

As "Mr. HOA" once said, "it's amazing how much damage one person can do."

Wow...so is he finally off the board? That's what it sounds like. Northwood Estates is a really nice community, so hopefully things will improve. I can't believe all of this subpar work was done. I feel bad for all of you living there and having your money used in this way.
