Yeah if you had to go from Dove to Irvine airport area that would be a hike in traffic everyday. I did it this morning in 20 min at 5:30 AM with no traffic but that is not peak traffic obviously. Yes, you do need to toll road it most of the time unless you want to spend a lot of time at...
Thanks cba6777. Yeah we already love it down there. Such a great feel and welcoming people. Lot's a great and already landscaped more importantly :). It just did not make sense to pay 100K more for a smaller lot in a so so location even if it was new. What street are you on in DC?
Woodbury East to Dove Canyon 7:15 AM every morning. Best time 14 min longest time 18 min. I have done it every day for 2 months to drop my daughter off at school. The lag of the commute is the lights I hit on Sand Canyon and portola on my way to the 241 due to all the construction traffic in PS.
847k before any upgrades, yikes! Lets see how well this all does with our slowing market. Can't wait till they try to sell the last phases right off Bake parkway. High five to the Shea sales team if the can spin that into a positive.
Sorry my comment probably seems out of place since I was responding to a question from a couple pages of posts ago. Congrats on the BR excipe. If you can try to avoid the builder upgrades I would recommend it. Everything is cheaper to do after close if you have the cash to do so.
I got a resale down in Dove Canyon. Under 700k no mello roos, HOA is kinda high at $235 but it is gated for that price. I work 500 yards from Baker Ranch so it would have been ideal for that but 150k more for a small yard with no view did not add up. I live in Woodbury East now and Dove...
I am but probably will not be buying there. By the time you put upgrades and a yard in you are looking at over 850K to overlook industrial in Lake Forest ($400 per sqft on a plan 1). Just don't think it is worth it at the end of the day. Think I am going re-sale in Foothill. Maybe even get a...
North of 800 for anything in Ridgewood. Pretty much the most you can spend for a home in Lake Forest under 2500 sqft. Can't image how much more these homes would go up in value. If you just want a place close to irvine that is new maybe it makes sense. If you want something that is a good...
Yeah, we shall see how long that lasts. I think the key is standing inventory. Once inventory hits the books and it does not move there will be a greater motivation to throw in incentives and cut pricing. Since no move ins have occurred yet this has yet to happen. It is funny Shea has not...
