Apologies for not reading entire thread. How is OH going to be zone for schools? Same Culver-split between IUSD and TUSD?

At least one of the flyers they were handing out at PP said that the Mello Roos could increase by up to 2% per year. Not sure if this is the case at Stonegate. I don't really understand how your mello roos can increase.

To be fair I don't eat Asian food so Irvine may very well have great Asian restaurants. For everything else its a wasteland.

You couldn't hear them from the model homes at noon on a Saturday, but like thegladiacmx said, the model homes are as far away as possible, the rest of the development will be closer to the freeway.

No good restaurants in Irvine.

Last neighbor I got to know didn't vaccinate her kids. I couldn't contain my massive eye roll. Kind of spoiled things moving forward.

I'm having trouble visualizing how close this will actually be to the 5 so I'm going to go check it out this weekend. There will be a street and a green belt, so maybe some of the north-eastern units will be far enough away.

Used to live right next to Alton, very far from any freeway. Traffic wasn't a problem it was the sirens. But that's something a lot of people won't notice when buying. Could be worse, you could be looking at that little tract in Woodbury between Sand Canyon and the 133.

I love the idea of 3 stories, but having a BR on bottom floor is deal breaker, and every 3br condo has one on the bottom floor.

Sending your kid to any of those four schools will leave them more than prepared for the diversity in college ("diversity" in terms of race/religion. Economic background not so much. This is Irvine.)

All it takes is 2 pieces of paperwork, and one can be your employment paystub. (These days who actually gets mail from their work?) So basically you get 1 utility put in your name and you're in IUSD. The relative issue is allegedly rampant. (I personally haven't seen it but I hear about it all...

Oh I didn't mean to imply I would go to IUSD while I personally lived outside of IUSD. I live in IUSD and I would get approval from the district.

Where did you hear this? http://iusd.org/enrollment/Enrollment-FAQ.html 10%-20% of ISUD students to go schools other than their assigned school. "The district has an open enrollment policy that allows students to apply to attend a school other than their assigned school." Its a lot harder to...
