I think you misunderstood. 3.0 is the min GPA to maintain the HOPE scholarship. Many Tech students lose it after their first year as the competiton is brutal. They call it the Freshman Bloodbath. Didnt i mention that a chinese kid i played tennis with had a 1530 SAT / 4.4. GPA and got rejected...
