I like the location.  Closer to the coast so will be cooler and a straight shot down to Laguna Beach.  Those floor plans look really nice.  It'll be interesting to see what price the homes open at.

Round Table is great.  I agree, the best among the national chains.  Locally, First Class Pizza beats Round Table. I don't like Costco's Pizza.  It's cheap and tastes that way.  Do love $1.50 hotdog/soda tho.  I miss the Choc dipped ice cream bar with crushed almonds.

I have never seen wood stairs where the tread doesn't extend as one piece all the way to the edge.  I guess technically you can do it and try to blend the edges together with sanding and painting, but not sure. Call Pike Stair Company.  They have always been responsive to my questions about...

I would steer away from marble in the kitchen.  Just too easy to permanently stain.  White granite or quartz countertops can look stunning in the kitchen with the right cabinetry, splash and flooring.  Check out Pinterest or Houzz for ideas.

Haha, there are no "projects" in Irvine like in Chicago or D.C.  If nobody mentioned the low income housing, you would never notice them.  They look like every other Irvine apartment complex. What Irvinecommuter said is true.  All of these elementary schools in Stonegate, Woodbury, Portola...

Don't sweat it, Woodbury Elementary is a fine school.  I know folks that send their kids there, they're happy.  A lot of Woodbury residents send their kids to other schools cuz of the year around aspect or they delude themselves thinking neighboring elementary schools are better. As an aside, I...
