Taxpayers are against bailout, something like 20-1.
Bailout aimed at handing goodies to the people who caused
this.
Bailout should be directed at unfreezing the short term paper
market and reimbursing banks for cramdowns.
The derivatives market is unsaveable.
Also as I've...
I managed to listen to the part about the bail out, but
fell asleep when the foreign policy stuff started.
The hub & son who are O supporters felt McC won by
a hair.
I dunno, I sold 80% of my stocks last fall. The housing
mkt in South Fla had died, and was dying elsewhere, nobody
had any money. Was planning to buy back in when the mkt went
below 10000 but am seriously re-thinking this. If the bailout passes
stocks will go up for a bit, so maybe...
We opened a new account, at SunTrust which is in viewing distance of our
WaMu branch. The bank officer said this morning there was something of a traffic
jam in WaMu's parking lot. This is on Merritt Island, Fla.
BankUnited, my fav-o-rite whipping bank.

Call your congresspersons. I doubt it will do...
I think that the answer is jefa's door number 3, no matter who wins
or which advisers they pick. It's too big to solve. We are at the top of the
rollercoaster, and it doesn't matter whether power is cut or the brakes
are applied, the coaster is gonna roll, and we are gonna roll with it...
Alas, nude, I agree.
If the candidates combined the virtues of Washington, Jefferson Lincoln Teddy Roosevelt, FDR,
Truman and Reagan, it still wouldn't make enuf difference to save us.
But we can make it thru.
I think.
I am voting for O because I think he will do the best...
I was going to suggest that you rent a trailer to live in but I see he has
power. Might not be a bad idea anyway. We hired some people to haul
all our stuff to the swale from the inside of the house, after I ran a nail
into my foot after hurricane Andrew. Paid 'em $600 in 1992 dollars...
