I don't do that well with Cox, but I get them to knock off $15/month on my cable/phone/internet package every six months. They also give me free HBO and Starz and/or Showtime whenever I call. I've been getting HBO free for over two years now.
BTW, speaking of Internet access, I'm writing...
Depends what you're buying. I shop at both. Sprouts has a fresh deli and seafood counter, and a much more extensive fresh produce section. They'll cut meat or whole fish for you, and can make you a fresh sandwich. Trader Joe's can't do that. Their refrigerated meals are prepared in-store...
Henry sold the Henry's chain to Smart & Final in 1999. Then he started the Sprouts chain. Sprouts and Henry's are almost identical, and many people think they are under the same ownership. They're actually competitors.
Just a heads up...it's common knowledge that TIC monitors these boards. You may not want to give enough info on here that would allow them to figure who this is, for negotiating purposes.
Anyone else hating the OC Register's new site? All my bookmarks to individual pages (like Irvine News) no longer work. And, when I do get to the Irvine News page, it just has 4 articles on it...then you have to click through for more. No more quick scanning of all Irvine news. And they took...

Census use in education funding
Census population figures are used to draw school district boundaries and determine funding allocations for many education programs. Data from the census provide federal, state, and district governments with benchmarks for evaluating the need for and...
If that's true, then the problem is even worse. They're comparing the same data set between 2007 and 2008. So that would mean the IUSD lost 50% of it's Korean population between 2007 and 2008. School funding is based, in part, on this census data. If I was a Korean parent of IUSD students...
These statistics are suspect. The Korean population went from 9% in 2007 to only 4% in 2008? Over half of all Koreans moved away from Irvine in one year? That's quite a mass exodus. I guess the new H-Mart and Zion markets drove all the Koreans away.
The government needs to start outsourcing...
