Yes they are both gated communities but they feel very different to me:

Northpark is a much more cohesive / well planned village similar to but smaller than Woodbury. It is guard gated with three main entrances to the community, multiple pocket parks, pools, tennis courts, clubhouse, and basketball court, and multiple interconnected paseos.

Northwood Pointe feels more like a collection of separate mini-villages, each with its own electric gate except (1) Arden Square--no gates at all (2) The Trailwood collection of homes South of Meadowood between Culver/Yale--this section is Guard Gated. The master community has only one main private pool and access to the public Meadwood Park--no series of pocket parks. I believe 4 of the sub-villages have their own pools as well (though it is not open to those outside those tracts) and Trailwood has their own tot lot.

In Northpark the enclaves are like bulbs that belong to a one string light.  In Northwood the neighborhoods are like separate candles.

This thread is begging for a Pat Star contribution on what the real meaning of "schools" is in Irvine.

Asians Protecting Investment.

Our equities depend on Amy Chuas of IUSD and TUSD with Irvine addresses.
Do you think we will have an entrance test to check the kid's academic abilities before we let them buy in Irvine? We don't want one random under achiever to score 99.99% and wreck our 100% in Math..

Is there such a mutation called Asian underachiever?

I guess those who score 99 percentile are called under achievers?
Kidding aside, majority of the children in any RTI or Math "achiever" group is filled with Asians. So is orchestra.

No! Knowing the market's soft spot and going in for the kill.
