What's the issue with D?  That's the one that Irvine PD wants right?

Oh...okay.  Then I would be against prop D if I am for prop B.  Fun.

I think that if Prop D passes, in the future the city council would be able to do the landswap without needing voter approval.

but if we let the city council make the decision, just think of all the trees we'd save from all the fliers in the mail and the multitude of signs at every street corner

So with Measure B and D failing, is it a message to the Irvine city council to stop the shenanigans?

The developer money is strong in Irvine. This is definitely not the last of the political drama.

The pain is in the resistance, why would anyone want to stop the appreciation of your home? Your trying to push an aircraft carrier off a sandbar. You live in one of thee most desirable cities in the world, it is a work of art compared to most suburbs. Sure, the haters will always hate, and we will just keep enjoying the fruits of blessings of being able to live here. Dimming others opportunities does not make mine burn brighter.

why would anyone want to stop the appreciation of your home?

Because appreciation of primary residence != better quality of life

I don’t know what this means.

Ditto. Metaphors a logical argument does not make.
