Both of those injuries are problematic as they can keep reoccurring.

I don't remember him being injury prone during his 1 year at UCLA.

So Lonzo is getting knee surgery.

Fultz and Lonzo are injury busts.

So funny. Last year everyone kept talking about Lakers in Summer League, this year, even though they are in the championship again, nothing.

It’s all about LeBron!!!! Can’t wait until the season starts.

Laker fans are Kawhi'ing. :)

Supposedly this is temporary as Kawhi is a free agent next year and will come to LA (just like Paul George did after he spent a year at OKC... oh wait).

Good move by the Spurs, they get a proven star (not potential on any of the Lakers youngsters) and they keep Kawhi out of their conference.

Not so sure move by Toronto although Kawhi is much better than Derozan... and what if Kawhi leaves.

Neutral for Lakers, they didn't lose any of their youth in a trade, but Lebron is going to be 35 by the time Kawhi gets to the Lakers (if he goes there).

Boston probably not happy with this as Toronto moves up a notch with that trade to see who comes out of the East only to lose in the Finals.

I like the fight in the Lakers! Harden is a punk. He's one of the best offensive players in the league, and it's just shameful how the league rewards him for jumping into guys to get to the free-throw line.

I think BI was just over it by that last call when Harden was rewarded yet again, for putting his shoulder into BI and knocking him on his ass. BI was heading toward the ref to ask, "What the hell are you seeing?" In BI's way was Harden bitching about the no continuation call. "Get the f^%$ out of here." That's what that push was.

Gonna be fun watching the Rockets struggling to score 125 every game just to compete. There are some horrific defenders on that team.

That BI frustration was definitely the result of an accumulation of typical Harden/CP3 calls going against the Lakers and BI. There were two calls against BI in the first half where he's tracking Harden to the rim, in good defensive position. Harden leans in with his shoulder to create space, shoots, and falls down like he was punched in the face. Whistle. Foul called on BI.

Harden actually failed to fool the refs in Q2 with a leg kick out on one of his three attempts. Shocking. He didn't just kick out his leg to create contact, but also fell down having not even been touched.

CP3 got one of those cheap charge calls in the first half on BI too. Coming down the court on offense, BI's not running very hard, but not thinking about the shady actor in front of him. CP3 stops in his tracks, and BI runs into him. Of course, like CP3 and Harden do, CP3 flew down like he was punched in the face. BI called for charge. Such a punk play.

The first half ended with CP3 falling down on a rebound getting two free throws having fooled the refs. There was very little contact, if any, but there was a big fall. Classic CP3 and Harden.

It is absolutely frustrating to play against guys like this. The refs must be forced to review these games and stop rewarding the acting. If they don't, the players will enforce the rules, which will predictably result in fights.

Full disclosure - BI coming in with that haymaker was a punk move too. Shows how pissed he was, but still, a really bad look and decision.

Playoff level basketball in game two! Love it.

Rusillo gets it. If the league is gonna reward the CP3 & Harden bull shit, then the players will enforce the rules.
