I haven't checked prices on some of the larger WB SFR in a while and was surprised to see the massive price cuts on this Plan 1 Mille Fleurs home by Mike Dunn--says STANDARD sale.

Is the higher end in WB crumbling?

There are also many WTF priced Juliet Balcony owners who have no interest in selling:http://www.redfin.com/CA/Irvine/35-Shepard-92620/home/5958383http://www.redfin.com/CA/Irvine/36-Grassland-92620/home/5958298

The higher end has been crumbling for a while.

$1m homes in Woodbury, Northpark, Northwood. A lot of over leveraged mortgage owners who are looking for an excuse to quit.

28 Sanctuary has a disclosure - suicide committed in that house :(  Wife and I cancelled seeing the house after we found out.  We arent superstitious types but just didnt want our first house to be so negative.

I am generally not a superstitious guy but houses do take on a 'personality'.  When looking for homes I have been in homes that feel 'welcoming' , 'non-emotional', 'sad', and 'scary'.
There was one house in 'the village' in coto that literally stopped me in my tracks and made me decide to walk out after 15 seconds because the hairs on the back of my neck stood up and I felt extremely tense all of a sudden.  I found out later a swarm of bees also set up a hive INSIDE the house.  Something was really wrong with that home.

Do you guys remember that one house with the persian husband who killed his wife and daughter and then kept them in the downstairs bathroom tub, and filled it with ice? I don't know if that was in West Irvine, or close to that area. It was all over the news maybe 3-4 years ago.

I remember some sucker bought that house for a "cheap" price at the time expecting to resell it for a profit quickly. Last time I checked in 2010, he was still trying to sell it.

21 Breezes just went back up.  I really dont understand the logic or benefit.  RE professionals, please chime in and explain why you would want to show a price decrease and then an increase a few days later?

Thank you for being nosy! That's the house.

I see the guy gave up trying to sell it.

Here's something not reported. The guy who was dumb enough to buy the home in 2007 I believe (highly discounted at the time of course), tried to sell the home with a crooked listing agent friend of his without disclosing the murders to some out of towners. They were sold out by neighbors who ratted them out to the potential buyers when they were walking the neighborhood.

Hey look!  There is a 8 in the address.  Guess it did not help the family that lived there or the person who tried to flip it.
