RedComet New member Feb 14, 2016 #2 Had no idea AMC was Chinese owned. That explains the Chinese movie selections at the District... I think they raised the ticket prices to $2.99 at Woodbridge, but still a good deal. It's pretty much the only reason why I go to that plaza.

Price depends on both the movie and the time. Most matinees are $1.99, some are $2.99 and can go up to $3.99 depending on the movie. I can bet all movie theatres will soon be changing to this type of dynamic pricing model which is based on demand.
