Where can I find the best deal on carpet?

Fullerton Wholesale Flooring
has great deals for quality carpets (for your personal home). I was able to get Shaw Floors multi-colored textured carpets for $20/sq yard installed with padding. It was a mid to high quality carpet. But you can get something as low as $16/sq yard. I needed 1350 sf area and paid $3500. Ask for John, he was very accommodating. John came out cheaper than New York Carpets at average $25-30/sq yard (including install and pad) for a decent carpet. But I would go to New York Carpets if I want a rug made out, it's cheaper than buying pre-made. PM me if you want me to send you a pic of my carpets.

If you want apartment grade carpets at $10-13/sq yard, try Carpet King in La Puente. They sell remnants at dirt cheap prices, but they don't have too many options and mostly have apartment grade carpets.

I've used New York Carpet on 3 occasions... seems to be the cheapest around.
