United States vs. ?

Can someone dumb down why i should care about the porn star?    Seems like nothing new there.  Really kind of a duh that he'd cheat on his third wife.  A contractual agreement not to carry dirt forward? Is that illegal?  Paid for it from the wrong pile of cash?  Okay thats an issue, is it an Issue or technicality?

Did i miss him lying about it during the election?

More loose rules non-following makes Russia true?

What is it?  Other than just another notch in the belt of he's an egotistical creep with the moral compass of Shkreli?

Whatever she has on Trump must be juicy.  I cant wait for his evangelical base to start justifying all of Trump's acts that are about to come out  -- what's a little side affair with a porn star while your wife is pregnant, its all good for the Jesus warrior.

The thing is when you run a candidate that shielded a rapist, you have no moral standing either.  Take the plank out of your own eye, before you worry about what evangelicals should do.

Huh ? plank ? ? Now that?s biblical . How long before we get a boat and arc reference ....

Difference is one side makes it a huge deal about ?family values? and morality and Jesus .. everyone knows Democrats don?t care about extra marital affairs .

Democrats make a big a deal about morality too.  The #Me Too movement is all about morality, yet they voted for a candidate that protected a rapist and made life hell for the accusers.

There is a big distinction . Dems made every single offender pay for it (remember Al Franken ?) while the RNC funded a creep like Roy Moore . Do you really want to go down this path ?

I'm not a member of the RNC, so why would I care if we go down this path?  You voted for a woman that shielded a rapist and ruined the lives of the victims.

I didn?t run a campaign making fun of Bill Clinton?s issues. Trump did.

Karma? I don?t know what you call it.

Yea. violation however in campaigns thats raised over $2 billion between them and inidividual top donors donated tens of millions that seems grab ass.  Personally, i think we really need all the corporate and union money out  of politics and contrary to the supreme court, money isnt free speech, it is the shout down, imho.

As for the evangelical base, Im jaded. If Tony Soprano was real he'd be evangelical. Whats important isnt living a pious life, its trying to lead a better life but knowing you're flawed and having the relationship with God for forgiveness.

Rex is out today, according to twiiter...

What can I say?

I think Rex is a class act guy. It?s a classic Trump move. Rex made blamed Russia for the chemical attack in the UK. The next Day Trump fires Rex.

?President Donald Trump ousted Secretary of State Rex Tillerson one day after Tillerson explicitly blamed Russia for a chemical attack against a former Russian spy living in the UK.?

I look at it this way, imagine you had a very successful company around here that had a new CEO. He brought in his new team.  Then over the next year saw the kind of turnover, of his own picked people, that we're seeing.

Can you imagine recruiting for the company?

Seriously, if you have a mid-level or upper level manager who was having that much quitting/firing going on, wouldn't any successful company be having a total cow about it?

It's not like there is a major marketing presentation coming up in a few months and you just fired your director of marketing and your market department is severely shortstaffed.

She is probably next and I would be ecstatic if I didn't think Trump to find someone even less competent.

WASHINGTON (AP) ? Education Secretary Betsy DeVos got a less than ringing endorsement from the White House on Monday after a pair of uncomfortable television interviews raised questions about her commitment to help underperforming schools and support for President Donald Trump's proposal to curb school violence.

Less than a day after DeVos was appointed to chair a federal commission on school safety, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders downplayed DeVos' role in the process. Asked whether DeVos would be the face of the commission, Sanders said, "I think that the president is going to be the lead on school safety when it comes to this administration."

Sanders also said that the focus is "not one or two interviews, but on actual policy."

+1

Very simple here . Chose putin over tillerson

Collusion or not , trump is doing all he can to give the appearance of being under Putin?s thumb . Maybe he is expecting help in winning 2020 as well ...

Give me a break. The left bent over backwards calling the Tillerson nomination payback to Putin for winning the election for Trump.  Now he's being fired is a nod to Russia?  You can't have it both ways.

Tillerson won?t fight Russian election meddling

The Kremlin reportedly wanted a more accommodating secretary of state than Mitt Romney.

The question is whether these two stories are connected. In other words, was Tillerson Russia?s preferred secretary of state? And if so, are the Russians in fact getting just what they wanted? And, therefore, should Special Counsel Robert Muller be looking into how Tillerson came to be nominated?

Significantly, few of the recent stories have pointed out that Tillerson has a two decade-long relationship with Russia and Putin. Indeed, at the time Trump nominated Tillerson, former CEO of ExxonMobil, he had been the director of the U.S.-Russian oil firm Neftgas since 1998.
